If you love all things miniature, you might be wondering if there are any dollhouse miniatures magazines available to read for inspiration and ideas. In this post, I’ll share some of my favorite dollhouse magazines that cover all things tiny.
YES, there are several current dollhouse magazines still in print, as well as several out of print and vintage magazine titles you can often find on sites like eBay and others.
In this post, we’ll go over all the magazines I’ve read and enjoyed over the years.
American Miniaturist Magazine
American Miniaturist Magazine, published by Ashdown Broadcasting, is a magazine published in the U.S. that focuses on all things miniature. They publish 12 issues each year, many of which are over 100 pages full of great project ideas, artist interviews and more.
In addition to their current magazine, they also offer a digital subscription which gives you access to all of their archives. They also offer the option to subscribe to dollhouse.tv which provides lots of useful tutorials and tips. It’s like Netflix for dollhouses!

Out of Print Miniature Dollhouse Magazines
While the first three options are your best bet for trhe latest current news in the miniature world, there are many out of print miniature magazines you can often find on sites like eBay, Etsy, thrift stores, flea markets and more.
These magazines can sometimes be difficult to find, but if you DO happen to find them they are definitely a treasure!
Miniature Collector: This magazine went out of print in 2018, but issues can be still found on sites like eBay and others.
Nutshell News: This is another out of print magazine that can be a good one to look for at flea markets, thrift stores, and eBay.
